Spring Break Science Camp

Join the Science Minor Spring Break Science Camp for exciting science activities as we explore the U505, Coal Mine, Henry Crown Space Center and much more. Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 17 to 21 and is open to Museum members. Registration is limited to 30 children in 3rd through 5th grade. The cost is $150 per child. Advanced Forensics, City Science, Renewable Energy and Simple Machines are the newest topics students can explore in the Museum’s hands-on Learning Labs.

Professional Development

Explore fabulous ideas for enhancing your science curriculum, both at the Museum and in your classroom! Our professional development opportunities show you how to do inquiry-based and hands-on/minds-on science in your classroom, and use Museum programs and exhibits to enhance your science curriculum.

Thanks to all the students who submitted their creative ideas in the Museum’s competition to help design the new Energy Planet exhibit. A group of entries have been invited to continue on to phase two. Stay tuned for updates on the competition and all the great ideas.
