Use your library card to save! Illinois residents who are cardholders at participating RAILS and IHLS public libraries can reserve free or discounted admission to MSI and many other attractions statewide. To see details and claim this offer, have your library card ready and visit the Explore More Illinois portal for cardholders.

Through the Museums for All program, MSI offers free Museum Entry* to individuals and families—regardless of state residency—presenting an Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card or a Women, Infants and Children (WIC) card, along with a photo ID. Each cardholder is entitled to free Museum Entry* tickets for up to two adults and up to six children (under 18). To reserve advance tickets, call (773) 684-1414 and mention Museums for All for fast, contactless admission when you arrive.

If you’re a member of an Association of Science and Technology Centers (ASTC) institution located more than 90 miles from MSI, you are eligible for free Museum Entry* for up to two adults and two children under 18 who reside in the same household (also at least 90 miles from MSI). One adult must be a member cardholder. Present your science center's membership card with an ASTC logo along with a photo ID to redeem this benefit at Museum ticket counters. Advance reservations are not available for reciprocal admission.
